Re the likes of BTW and TTB who wholesale to ISPs a service providing the transport of internet traffic from exchanges to those ISP customers;
- can these guys legally look at or into packets they are transporting to/from the isp ?
- If so which levels of headers or even payload, or the whole thing can they legally look at?
- And do they actually do snooping?
- If these guys are implementing censorship, do they only do it with dns or do they actually filter traffic?
- Do court orders or government orders for censorship require a particular technical implementation mechanism or are they vague as to how their aims are to be implemented?
