In the Millenium Exhibition there was an item about language; how babies' babbles were identical world wide, only developing later into a specific tongue with 'rules', or rather topsy grown customs, that all in a society accept.
And how different all those customs are: word order, inflexions of which some change the first letters some the last, tones, Name it; it's there. Yet somehow we communicate- a miracle, but not one to be tightly bound.
