Draytek router - modem separate or built in
« on: August 10, 2019, 08:03:18 PM »

Hi, I'm looking at getting a draytek router. Would I see a sync increase if I get one without vdsl built in and use a vigor 130 instead?

It would be located 2m away? The reason being that vdsl is high frequency and if the modem is located in the same location, a server rack it may receive interference from switches /power supplies ?

its between: vigor 130 + 2925
or 2860

I would like these as I then have the option of combining with a 4g modem later.

I use an HG612 with a 2925, although I think it’s now a 2526 model currently .

I love draytec modems they are so configurable
