Dash cams

Shaft:
My dash cam played up and on checking the card on my pc even tho it has stuff recorded on it when I play it there is no picture, the progress line moves acrossthe bottom of the screen.  Any body any idea ?

I presume the camera always records, in a continuous loop? I.e. When the memory card is filled it is re-used from the beginning, once again.

Rather like the memory card in a Raspberry Pi, I suspect that your camera's card has probably reached its limit of usable write/read cycles and needs to be replaced.

Tried changing the card, made no difference, bought a new dash cam (not cheap) same result.   Have I got the wrong prog to play vids from cards?
What prog do I need to play SD Card Videos?

Try VLC player, that plays pretty much everything.
