AA in York
« on: May 25, 2019, 08:42:27 PM »

This is a question for AA, but I did just wonder if anyone knows the answer.

In York, is it Cityfibre who have built their own fibre network? Sold by is Sky and Talktalk?

If it is being sold by TT, does that mean that one can get it from TalkTalk Business as well as TT Retail? And then is it available through TT Wholesale?

So my real question: can one get cityfibre now via AA since they use TT Wholesale? Or is that only a ‘potential’ for a possible future, or never?

Probably not as AA still use openreach access network even with TT wholesale, cityfibre isnt the openreach access network.

I also dont see AA listed as a cityfibre affiliate on its website.

Is that because of management systems’ compatibility? I was just assuming that someone such as AA could buy from TT’s wholesaling outfit. I have no idea what I am talking about though, absolutely none.

TalkTalk retail only. They are not offering the FTTP for wholesale consumption.
