Haggle!

(1/1)

stevebrass:
Just coming to the end of my 12 month contract VM. Offer price was £29  :fingers:per m  - 50Mbs product. Out of contract price was £42 but a quick phone call and now £31 for another 12 months.

Given cheapest 12 month VDSL was £25 per month, at about 15Mbs I have opted to stick with VM.

Had no problems with them thus far..................... :fingers:

Ronski:
I managed to get my out of contract price from £51 down to just under £40, that's for Vivid 350 BB only. Not had any problems either, so very pleased.

Chrysalis:
I need to haggle, how do you approach the conversation, do you just start by saying you going to leave, or can be less aggressive?

I am paying £46 to sky, for a line I dont use and 76/20 vdsl, ronski your 350/20 makes a mockery of that haha for £40.

In my experience you might as well cut to the chase and threaten to leave unless they can improve the deal. A bit of market research helps - quote a few comparative prices.

This is the advice I received, and it seemed to work, I dare say I could have got some more off had I insisted on going through with cancelling, but I couldn't be bothered.
