Is anyone else like me wondering why they have to use 'Studies' to push out the update?
When there's been bugs in the past they usually update immediately via the normal method.
Could it be that whatever is wrong is not only stopping new extensions being installed, but also any updates?
Or is that just a stupid theory.. because could they also not just roll out a whole new version which needed an uninstall/reinstall?
Mind you the later could be a PITA as you could end up losing stored data and would lose any of your extensions and associated data
