re0

I ended up ordered VM ViVID350 with phone line as VM online will applied £50 credit for me. They say to me there is no network issues in my area and will get 362 Mbps down and 37 Mbps up.

Installed date this Friday.

Will cancel Plusnet next week. So, no more FTTC for me. Hope I made the right choice.
£20.01 for 12 months? :hmm:

I wondered about line rental. Would be a killer deal if just over £20 a month!

Strange. VM have been quoting line rental and broadband price together for a while as required by Ofcom.

Also strange: if price is exclusive of line rental after month 18 it's going to be £76 a month when the website price is £59.

Vivid 350 + phone is £39 a month for 12 months as standard.

Odd.

I just got off the phone with virgin media enquiry about my order and they has confirmed me the total pay for my ViVid 350 with phone line is £20.01 (after discount) for next 12 months in a 12 months contract.

I am over the moon with this great cracking deal  ;D Thank You VM.

Bravo... assuming the agent was accurate.

But now I'm back to wondering how it is so cheap. The discount, of course. But how come the discount is that large?

I have no idea to be honest. I have to wait until the bill to come out. The lady told me on the phone it was definitely £20.01 for both broadband and phone after discount as she has double check for me. She say the staff has coded in special discount for you. Plus you still have 14 days cooling off period on the day of activated this Friday, if unhappy with the service can cancel within 14 days without have to pay anything or no bill at all but just to sent the hub 3 back to us.

You've let your imagination run wild, max. But I think you've inflated the demand on the forums for such material of yourself.

Though thanks for installing imagery of suggestive poses with the Hub 3 into my mind.

re0

I just checked dsl checker with all houses by me, same street layout, same cabinet pcp 8, all same 250m away. All others houses by me get better g.fast than mine was wonder why is this?

BT Checker give me clean range A 211.5 to 184.3 down and 29.6 to 12.4 up. How come other house is little higher than mine?

Doesn't make any sense at all with G.fast estimated. The house with three houses from me on the same lay out same street same cabinet 250m they get estimated 312.3 to 278.2 down and 48.4 to 24 up.  ??? ??? ::) ::) :o :o

but .... who care? I off with VM soon.  :P

Early this afternoon at 3pm I asked the engineer why is my property are low speed at g.fast as he say to me you have to be within 100m for a better range 330/50 if you move to this house behind this wall.
