I too once synced at 80Mbps, but nowadays, I'm getting roughly 69/65Mb on each of my 2 lines. At ~135Mb actual throughput, I really can't complain. I'm paying a lot for it as I have two lines, but, I can easily afford it, so no problem.

The GFAST pod connected to your cabinet pcp 8 will be going live this week, we are aiming to be able to take orders before the weekend. If we do experience any unforeseen delays I will let you know, however everything looks to be in place for the new pod to be commissioned and GFAST services made available.
We will make the service available to all CP’s this week (subject to everything going to plan) They in turn may have some delay in making this available for re-sale.Having checked the online speed checker I get the following estimated speeds. (For VDSL or G.fast Ranges A and B, the term "Clean" relates to a line which is free from any wiring issues (e.g. Bridge Taps) and/or Copper line conditions, and the term "Impacted" relates to a line which may have wiring issues (e.g. Bridge Taps) and/or Copper line conditions.)I will monitor progress this week and let you know when we are ready to take orders
He also give me the g.fast range A as it look rather disappointed - very low for my cabinet to be 250m away with 211/29 or 151/18
I have decided to stay with FTTC. Not worth to pay extra monthly fee £52.00 for g.fast from Zen Internet as I probably have to go with Virgin Media standalone 350/35 when my PN contract expires in this October.
I did consider draytek but I do value the broadcom monitoring, and could never find a cheap draytek unit, at same price level as zyxel stuff.which model you recommend for a modem only configuration?
