If it's a new tier, given your complaints about the cost of products and how much of a rip off they are elsewhere, I'm not sure you'll be wanting to pay for it. £50+ per month can be expected and they may even make you pay something like list price.
I do not believe it'll be 50Mb upload on the 500 tier either.
Either way the idea that all else being equal someone obsessed with broadband speed would buy 220/30 rather than 500/35, more like 550/36.5, is laughable.
For the curious this has gone to the vast majority of the network. Other tiers are worth watching.
Business services have not changed, and it's not on the radar for them to. Second class cable customers as ever
