VMG1312-B10A Transparent/Bridge mode settings?
« on: February 15, 2019, 07:13:45 PM »

Hello,

I need some help with making sure I have transparent/bridge mode correctly setup in my VMG1312-B10A, I have set to bridge mode - entered the Vlan settings for BT infinity and turned off the DHCP server and wireless, Asus AC86U router WAN port is connected to VMG1312-B10A Lan port 1, connection established and up.

But I also find all these settings and ask if they should also be disabled (currently all enabled on the VMG1312-B10A) as the router should take care of them?..

Ipv4 Firewall - set to Medium
Ipv6 Firewall - set to Medium
UPNP State
UPnP NAT-T State
Qos
NAT ALG
SIP ALG

Thanks.

I left all those settings as they were.
None of them are relevant in bridge mode as the modem is completely isolated from the WAN.

I disable upnp on any device I can.
