Draytek 2862 FTTC settings help.

Hi guys,

Just noticed my protocol on the modem setting is set to PPPoA instead of PPPoE.

Is this correct?

Must admit, as it's ready to go out of the box, and all i needed to do was input my ISP details, i didn't notice.

As long as WAN/General Settings/WAN1 is showing VDSL rather that ADSL then you will have a PPPoE connection.

Interestingly, the portion of the configuration GUI that you have shown is headed "ADSL Modem Settings".

Not having had any experience with Draytek devices, I wonder if there is a separate part of the configuration GUI that is headed "VDSL Modem Settings" and there the protocol is set to PPPoE.
