It's a box.  Cats love boxes.

I thought I was being super witty with "All your box are belong to us", but it appears many others got there first. - Linky

Screen cap of the original just in case anyone can't recall the the Internet from circa 2000.
No such thing as social media meme's back then, but some things still had a way of going viral amongst Internet communities of the time. :D

From the cats' reactions, I wonder if cat-mint bags were shipped in error rather than the peppermint ones ordered.

We get total craziness every day like this, even without any mint. Bedtime especially and the two boys go crackers. Any bed-making or anything to do with sheets, blankets or duvets sets Pangur Bán off.

In the video, Somhairle is clearly having a trip while he tries to play with his own tail. I am sure that at one point, near then end, Pangur Bàn (who is outside the box later on) looks st the camera and asks “what on earth is wrong with Somhairle?”.

We have had cats that used to eat ordinary garden mint, while slobbering or rolling over or rubbing their heads on the patch. Other cats remained meanwhile immune.

We may have had cats that remained almost completely immune to the effects of real cat-mint. Used to have cat-mint in a pot in our garden in London, but it had quite a hard time with cats break-dancing in the pot, just as Somhairle does here. We sometimes bought dried flecks of catmint in packets too. A sprinkle on the carpet and the usual hilarity would ensue.
