There ya go, Chrysalis, Leicester is in the batch of 27 to be done by 2024.

Is this openreach or cityfibre? thanks.

Cityfibre have done a rollout in my city, but it stops below 100m from my house.  So if thats it I could be dead on that one.

CityFibre.

Nothing to do with where the current fibre ring is, that's just a base. Extensive construction out from it.

Well I did a postcode check on the side street and that also says no service, interesting, then I found this on another cityfibre url. https://www.cityfibre.com/network/

So seems thats just a dark fibre map I think and is no live services. :)

What's running right now doesn't matter, it's the passive infrastructure they are more interested in. CityFibre have announced Leicester as part of the Vodafone joint venture and that's about all there is to say. What the business checker says is irrelevant. The distance from the existing ring is irrelevant.

If it soothes your soul a little have a look at the ongoing roadworks in Milton Keynes, Peterborough, etc. No-one cares that your property is 250m from the ring when they are building ducts and laterals to hundreds of premises on the way and around.
