Is G.fast supported by Huawei HG612?

Hi,

I recently upgraded to BTs G.fast service for 100Mb+

However, when installing the service it appeared that my Huawei HG612 modem doesn't support G.fast. Can anyone confirm if this is the case or not? Does my modem need an update, or is it not destined for the bin?

The HG612 is VDSL only, and regardless only has a 100Mb Ethernet port.

Good point on the 100Mb port haha I totally forgot about that.

Do you have any suggestions on a replacement which would work with G.fast. Or do you think I could use my router and the BT Homehub in harmony?

Were you not supplied a Huawei MT992 modem to go with it? What ISP are you with?
