All-time high record downstream
« on: October 27, 2018, 09:43:30 AM »

Sync rate all time high downstream of 3.242 Mbs downstream, but a really miserable 0.358 Mpbs upstream on line #3. The downstream is an all-time record by approx 100k. Must be due to the snow overnight. The awful upstream, is 11k better than it was before the snow. The next worst modem, is 496k. Line 3’s upstream has been awful for a good while, suddenly went really bad, reported in another thread, and I have never been able to get it right again.

I realise that that post was ambiguous. It is an all-time high downstream best for any line ever. Post modified to clear this up. I can only assume that either the snow is screening the line from interference, or last night’s lightning knocked out some other crosstalkers or scared them, like me, into turning kit off, or both factors could be in effect.
