B4SH Latest (November 2018)
« on: November 20, 2018, 11:26:39 PM »

According to the most recent blog posting, the B4SH team has started installing their first lengths of optical fibre . . . with some help from the B4RN experts.

I haven't heard from Walter for a while but I fully expect that he has his head down a hole or in a joint chamber somewhere in Surrey!  :D  No doubt he will post some details here when he next has some free-time at his computer.

Hello everybody and my humble apologies to one and all !

Indeed I have been in countless chambers and inside all sorts of buildings including BOTH https://www.alburyvineyard.com and https://silentpooldistillers.com today.
The final distribution chamber is in between these properties and, due to the foul weather today, I was blowing the service fibres from inside the distillery in a rather heady atmosphere but at some distance from anything imbibe-able !
You'll find some more pictures soon on our Facebook and web sites.

We've made remarkably good progress this week with our B4RN colleagues.
They blew all our core and distribution fibre cables in a single day; although that total distance for our phase one project is only around 2.75 km.
However that also reflects upon the months of care and attention we have taken in burying blown fibre tube in some VERY challenging terrain on the North Downs.

Today also saw Zayo, our global network suppliers, hard at work installing a new chamber just for us.

Kind regards,
Walter
