What format is the database in. Is it an Access database. If so, is it an .mdb or an .accdb file.

There might be services on the web that can convert these file types into some file format that your software does support. Would have to find out what kinds of exact file formats your software can ingest without belly ache or upset.

The Access .mdb file is proprietary to Microsoft so only Access or other Microsoft Office products such as Excel is able to open them. The database file will include tables and possibly indexes, forms and views.

If you just want to access the data in table form then this link may be the answer https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/question/152917/migrating-from-ms-access/

I thought the ODBC drivers for MS Access were included in all windows versions since at least XP and probably earlier. You should be able to get any application that has ODBC capability to retrieve the data.

(That won't help if you have form design and code you want to retrieve)
