*nix file system ACLs permissions

The basic *nix permissions based on ownership and user / group / world (is that right?) are fairly basic.

I was wondering about systems that have flexible powerful ACLs such as we find in Win NT especially post NT4 service pack x and then NT 5.0 aka Win 2000.

Was wondering about the requirements for this kind of good stuff?

What do you mean by "requirements"? ACLs will have been supported by every Linux distribution and filesystem for ages.
