Type to Siri
« on: September 15, 2018, 09:50:43 AM »

I have started using Siri more and more. I discovered that, if things are set up right in settings (possibly), you can hold down the Apple button and then type commands to Siri. I found this useful when you have no idea how to do something, or don’t understand how a particular app works, and also it is just a big time saver - far quicker than somehow finding the correct app for a job and then having to work out how to use that app.

I used the ‘type to Siri’ thing when the mic on my iPad went wrong. But I have also recently used it for convenience or when I do not want to speak because I might wake Mrs Weaver up.
