G.fast SSFP / faceplate / filter
« on: September 11, 2018, 10:12:10 PM »

[inspired by https://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,22378.msg382410.html#msg382410]

1. What is in a G.Fast-specific faceplate ?

2. What is the motivation behind making a distinct design?

3. Could one be used in other applications? Does it have wider, generally beneficial design improvements?

I'm not sure how the G.Fast SSFP differs from the MK4 SSFP (the NTE5C SSFP) but they are the same design/shape.

I'm sure in time we'll see the internals or some sort of technical description of what's inside that's different.
