Janet tells me that next week there may be some frost in the central mountains of the Highlands. Could that mean snowfall in August on the tops?

I have seen snow on the tops in early September in previous years when in Inverness.

I used to live in Peterhead many moons ago and it snowed in June there once. And it's not mountainous either, rather on the coast - brrr.
