With the limited knowledge I have on the roll out of G.fast, I would say it doesn't look like a pod I've seen before. Though there is a good chance that I am wrong... again.
Ive never seen one like this before, I thought all the copper extension pods looked like this.
That is just a standard Huawei SmartAX MA5603T equipped "fibre twin" cabinet.
You have to scroll right to see the little pod the image is too big.It's one I've seen plenty of.
I was trying to look for resemblance between the picture the OP posted and the photo of the Nokia pod in a thinkbroadband article (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/news/7662-gillingham-sees-first-live-g-fast-connection-go-live, the 2nd picture in the article). Of course, the door swings the other way (and can you blame it? ) but most of what you see on the outside of the pod in the OP's photo seems to match up with the inside.Regardless of the actuality, any unsuspecting soul considering my response saying that copper extension pods have vents being true can probably safely dismiss it.
