Cat food
« on: August 17, 2018, 11:38:51 PM »

Janet was feeding our orientals on Felix or coop posh tin. She changed to
‘Natural Instinct’ frozen raw minced turkey with bone and just everything. The kittens are now playing much more - absolutely crackers, racing around - and the litter tray used to stink - was vile - and now all stink gone.

It's surprising how a simple diet change has such an effect.

Mine are hellish fussy eaters.   There is a lot of talk around raw diet.   In fact I tried it when Zigs was ill just to see if I could get him to eat something.    Neither of them would touch it.     In fact I could put lamb down and both would rather starve than eat something they didn't like.   :(

So many cats are fussy eaters and have real problems with certain foods. My previous oriental, Daisy, whom I had for sixteen years, would be actually sick if given salmon cat food.

Our orientals do seem to really like the raw stuff. They have had the odd mouse and bird caught for them by Buidheag our tortie+white moggy so perhaps they just think of that.
