Very high speed wireless access points
« on: August 02, 2018, 02:41:24 AM »

I want to ask about kitizens’ experience with very high speed bitrates on wireless LANs? 802.11ac with MIMO high diversity and/or channel bonding ? More than 300 Mbps / 450 Mbps / 600 Mbps even?

Ever used 80MHz or even 160MHz bonded channels with 802.11ac kit?

If you can get a really fast WAP of that type, what about support for those really high speeds from client devices / NICs / stations?

I have no experience of 802.11ac because although I have a couple of Cisco devices which are 802.11ac wave 2, I have never managed to get them working properly, and the other kit I have is 802.11n.
