Issue with my Netgear D6220 2.4 ghz wi-fi
« on: July 30, 2018, 05:55:37 PM »

For some reason or other recently when a device is connected to my 2.4ghz wi-fi it can only see other 2.4ghz wifi devices and the router, not anything else on the wired lan. I have an idea there is a setting which might do this, some kind of isolation, but cannot see anything obvious. I have a wireless  homeplug downstairs and when connected to that or 5ghz on the Netgear I can see everything OK.

Anyone any ideas what I'm looking for please? I guess a reboot might fix it as this certainly used to work OK and I don't believe I've done anything to the router.

Well this morning I connected my phone to the 2.4ghz wi-fi on the router and could see everything on the lan and wi-fi (2.4ghz and 5ghz). So no idea why it worked today, no reboot or anything and nothing changed on phone or router! Strange......
