I had not thought about the switch, I suppose I could handle that in the same vein if I change the IPv4 address of the admin i/f of the switch to move it off the clashing default 192.168.1.1 that it currently uses and just map some other object to the up tagged vlan. I doubt I will ever need to access the switch anyway. I can always just run another cable in to it whenever needed and be lazy about designing a config that allows permanent access to it. If I did the second cable thing I would probably move it to be at an address in the main LAN range. The main LAN uses a routable global IPv4 subnet and is not RFC1918.

To keep things simple, I would just use the following 5 subnets:

192.168.200.1 - Switch (no VLAN needed)
192.168.201.1 - Modem #1 (VLAN 201)
192.168.202.1 - Modem #2 (VLAN 202)
192.168.203.1 - Modem #3 (VLAN 203)
192.168.204.1 - Modem #4 (VLAN 204)

That way you keep everything away from the common default IPs, which may cause you problems in the future.
