Do you have the wireless turned on? I only ask as my 834GT gives stupid results like that on Routerstats when it is - in my case they aren't real changes in noise margin (ie they don't affect my connection), but your graph looks remarkably similar to mine when I have wireless turned on.

Well the BT engineer arrived at 9.15 this morning and has just left:

He found a bad connection at one of the line boxes in the street, after he remade the connection my sync speed immediately jumped up to 7616kbps.

Latest test on speedtester showed:

Quote
Test1 comprises of Best Effort Test:  -provides background information.
IP profile for your line is - 135 kbps
    DSL connection rate: 448 kbps(UP-STREAM)  7616 kbps(DOWN-STREAM)
Actual IP throughput achieved during the test was - 100 kbps

And the router is showing

Quote
ADSL Link                 Downstream       Upstream
Connection Speed     7616 kbps           448 kbps
Line Attenuation        29.0 db               16.5 db
Noise Margin             15.0 db                23.0 db

The Noise margin has been 14.8 to 15.0 for the last 10 mins.

So now just need to wait a few days for the bras ip profile to reset.

Well done to BT very impressed with the service.  ;D

Excellent! Your target noise margin has been bumped up to 15 dB because of the previous instability, but if it's now stable the margin should come down automatically over a period of weeks (but this depends on the error rate). Even without this you're well up towards the maximum speed. :)

Excellent result :)

7,616 kbps is probably the maximum speed anyway, because of the the restriction due to interleaving.

Nice one ;D
