HG 612 with Draytek 2760
« on: July 20, 2018, 08:34:14 PM »

Hi

In order to try to get the most from my FTTC line I want to try a HG612 with my Draytek 2760

I have connected the 612 to WAN 2 on the draytek I put in my ISP login info into the Draytek and I get my static IP from my ISP and DNS settings from my ISP showing in the Draytek but no access to the net

I have the 2760 set to 192.168.1.2 and if I connect a cable from the 612 LAN 2 to the Draytek I can see the 612, If I run DSL stats I can see the 612 and the line stats but no net access - does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong ??

BTW my ISP is Talk Talk Business

Hi

You need to set the access to wan 2 (if I read correctly) and not the default wan 1

If you want to test without changing much, just set load balancer to use wan 2 for ports 80 and 443 save and then test. Browsers should now use wan 2 for 80 and 443

I hope that helps and we use hg612 with draytek and works lovely

Many thanks

John

Hi

All sorted now

Turns out TT res needs no login info TT bus does

A full factory reset on the draytek sorted it
