Interesting router settings

I've found interesting settings in some manual.
03. Dynamic Line Adjustment (DLA)
04. Stability Adjustment (ADSL)
05. Rx AGC GAIN Adjustment (ADSL)
09. ESNP - Enhanced Sudden Noise Protection (VDSL)

I'm curious about what these settings do. It seems to me that Stability Adjustment (ADSL) is target SNR margin. However I have no idea what is Rx Ax AGC GAIN Adjustment and ESNP. Unfortunately I haven't got these settings on Netgear DGND3700v2.
