Lets have a moments silence for the poor unsuspecting soul who was so close to being on a Huawei cab.

;D

I just take my Hauwei cabinet for granted. Though I can certainly be thankful that I do not have to play the waiting list game and hope that the ECI port gets taken.

Next a date should appear in the availability column and at some point on that date it will show available.
Other ECI ports can become available before then just don't do what I did and jump the gun. Cancelling isn't as easy as ordering  :P

I'm going to wait until I get confirmation from Openreach that Huawei is indeed live, and then take them up on their offer of ensuring I get connected to the Huawei cabinet.  :fingers:

My neighbour is only getting 24,332 via their Sky Hub and connection to the ECI cabinet. I'm not sure why his connection is so bad, I managed to get 39mbps on fast path.

I think whoever placed their order read this post and promptly cancelled! DSLchecker is showing available again!

In this scenario you are better off ordering an additional 2nd line. Once the new (Huawei) 2nd line is up and running, cancel the ECI line...

My new line has been activated on the new Huawei cabinet.  ;D True to their word Openreach contacted me to let me know the cabinet had gone live. I placed an order with BT, let OR know the order number and they worked with BT to ensure I was activated on the Huawei cabinet. I've been impressed with both companies.
