Following yesterdays deluge, we feared for the safety of some of our baby blackbirds ... one nest is adjacent to the our entrance gate in the top of a forsythia hedge...however a little peek this morning  with the zoom lens shows us that all is well  .....


The other nests are not so accessible; we have some Redstarts nesting as well as the blackbirds  ..... we're hoping to see them take flight...... isn't nature wonderful .............. pleased to say that the bedraggled flowers are now reaching out to the sun again......
