Hi,
I'm just about to setup a new pfSense gateway and upgrade some of my network. I presently use a VMG1312-B10A in bridge mode with a Linksys e4200 running DD-WRT. While I'm in the process of upgrading things I want to configure things so I've got access to the GUI of the bridged VMG1312-B10A to view line stats.
Is there a configuration to allow GUI access to a bridged VMG1312-B10A, with pfSense, over the WAN port only, that is persistent?
Is it preferable/required to use the "two cable" method as detailed here:
https://kitz.co.uk/routers/zyxel_VMG8324-B10A_bridge.htm? I'd really prefer not having to run a 2nd cable.
I've tried to search around and unfortunately I couldn't find any specific guides on this - sorry if there is one and I've missed it. Everything I found seemed to be for different router and modem combinations. I'm pretty much a networking noob in all honesty so ideally I would really appreciate some guidance that's specific and step-by-step.
Thanks for any help!
