Hi all, I wandered if it would worthwhile to upgrade to BeThere upto 24meg connection my line stats are as follows:

Well it looks pretty well perfect to me so you stand a very good chance of seeing significant throughput increases.

Probably a good idea to wait for a second or third opinion before you flash the plastic though. ;)

Be* arent at all exchanges - so use the exchange checker to see if they are available to you.

Based on those stats you should get around 17Mb. Bear in mind this is only a guide and your line does seem to be on occasions troublesome.  However, if Be are available it will free you from the bRAS profile thingy that you sometimes get caught in.  Be does have a DLM system, little is known about it.. but it certainly isnt as harsh as BTW's. 
If you do go, then knowing your line history, you are possibly best staying on their default profile and not messing too much trying to improve your speeds.. instead letting their DLM doing the work, but it could mean that you get slightly lower speeds... but still better than now.

I see what your saying there about my troublesome line  :rain: . And as someone not naming any names has signed a new contract for me to BT I can't switch without paying a hefty fee.

The "rolling contracts" from some ISPs is really annoying :(
