Zyxel VMG1312-B10A wanted
« on: May 13, 2018, 01:24:45 AM »

I am looking to find a Zyxel VMG1312-B10A that is new or in good condition. I suspect I have just missed one.

I actually need two units.

Any shopping recommendations generally?

I am still looking around because I would ideally like some spares in case of lightning damage.

I can fortunately just drop in a DLink DSL-320B-Z1 modem instead because they are exactly compatible since PPPoEoE is PPPoEoE and both speak MTU 1508, but I would still like to be able to carry replacements.

There are a few on ebay now at silly prices. Does anyone have any other buying tips?

It might be useful to set up an eBay search for an "iTalk VMG1312-B10A" device.

That is how I obtained my first one . . . It had been supplied to an iTalk end-user and had only been used for a week. As the service was so appalling, the end-user got out of the contract and sold the device (for £24-99) to me.
