Just found this from Mr Smooth over the way:
Just a heads up. I had a customer today who had connection issues with AOL Broadband.
They hadn't changed anything, it just stopped working.
Long story short, because of carphone warehouse taking over AOL uk, they have changed the usernames and passwords for the broadband connections to the format
(username) phonenumberA@dialbb.com
(password) aol1234
instead of the screenname and password that you would usually use.
Not sure if anyone is having problems during or after the take-over but it may solve it.
