Microphone fail

Weaver:
The mic seems to be stuffed on my iPad Pro, just get crappy noise coming from it, there is some output. Has anyone else had this?

It's very annoying as I don't really want to be without it for ages while it is being repaired. I will have to send it off though.

Does anyone else have experience of Apple repairs?

Weaver:
I still have not been able to face sending my iPad Pro off to Apple for repair. I need to blast the mic socket with a tin of compressed air first, just in case that fixes it!  ;D  Living in hope. The thing is still within its two-year Applecare Plus warranty thingy.
