My thinking is as follows:

If your new service has a measured DS/US throughput which is within those ranges then the service will be deemed as operating "as expected".

It's quite a wide margin; isn't it. I'd hope toward the top end of either range. I know it doesn't mean much, but it has been commented ,that my line is as good as it gets, since I revamped with a SSFP and moved the test socket. The ex BT man who did the work said he found no external fault too.

It's all FWW, but unless there's something nasty twixt DP and me, I'd hope for a good outcome.

There is a little nagging thought in the back of my mind . . . and that is your DIG (direct in ground) service feed back to the DP seems to have more joints than cable!

Having recently had that internal wiring re-vamp you could optimistically expect to achieve throughput within the "(Clean)" range. However your new ISP will not be aware of that fact and will probably work from the "(Impacted)" range.

Did I mention "my new ISP"? :-\ As to joints from DP to me, AFAIR  from where I believe the DP to be to me, is that put in some years ago, when had trouble. i think there are more on the cable that runs up the other side of the road from which my close branches from.

We'll have to wait and see. :D
