Was called by a nice fellow called Kumar yesterday who appeared to know what I wanted. He asked me to forward him a copy of my "welcome to BT broadband" email and he would speak to BT Wholesale, get the line regraded and release ADSL Max for me.

So I definitely have got my fingers crossed!

Just checked the wholesale database today and BINGO! I can now get up to 2meg ADSL which means they should be able to regrade me to up to 8 meg ADSL Max!!!!

Well done Kumar!

And thanks, Kitz, for that pro-forma.

I'll let you guys all know when I'm at max speed!

I spoke to Kumar this morning and he said that my regrade would ocurr on 24th of November. So, if that happens as he said then I suggest that anybody who has issues asks to speak to Kumar.

I'll let you know what happens next weekend.

Nice one. Your SNR Margin is very very healthy, one of the best I've seen on a Max-ed line. :)

Lol, makes me laugh how the database says you can only get up to 1Mb... when I first tried to get ADSL on my line 2 years ago it said I could only get 512k. Now I'm syncing at 7,712kbps - database... inaccurate... I'd say so!

Best get flexing that connection as soon as your speed profile is lifted ;)
