Hi,
I've noticed in recent weeks that my DSL connection will nearly always drop every morning (and usually Mon-Fri but sometimes the weekend too) around 8:30am. It can stay down for as long as 30mins. I've replaced both router and modem, which has made zero difference. I even moved off BT to TTB. While sync and speed marginally improved, the connection issues persist.
My new provider shows session stats and I can see frequent drops through the day due to a "Port Error"? Modem (configured in bridge) logs don't provide any insight other than the link is down.
I'm no expert here, though have read a little on REIN and SHINE as possible causes. I'm pretty sure there's nothing on premise that would cause this and certainly nothing unusual around that 08:30 time to suggest such. I live in a detached property, I can see the copper cable running directly from it to a nearby street pole and then underground.
What (if anything) can I do to resolve this? As I work from home it's more than just an inconvenience.
Not sure if my stats help either, but here they are...
