I have no specific experience of using SKY ADSL but I don't believe they use TR069 to provide user details to the modem/router. The reference to Option61 is to do with a special form of DHCP connection which does not require a username and password.

Hi, just a quick update. Moved onto plusnet, and since I'd been messing with router settings
decided to reset to factory and went through setup again.
Connected ok. Interesting stats are slightly different from on sky and pppoe rather than pppoa ?!

Glad to hear your ADSL2+ service migration to Plusnet is complete, hope it went well.
Your line synch speeds certainly look reasonable for ADSL2+ service by comparison to my line before I maigrated to VDSL.

As a long time Plusnet customer, I would advise using their forum should you need any technical support, I have found the PN staff members who monitor the forum to be very knowledgable and supportive, better than the telephone support route my far.
