Replacement laptop batteries and chargers source

I'm trying to sort out a laptop for a charity. The charger has been lost and the battery is dead. The battery in it looks like it has already been replaced once with a cheapo.

I have a 12V Acer charger for my own laptop which I can run off a leisure battery and using that I know the laptop itself is fine - I'm currently rolling on loads of Windows and Office updates.

Can anyone recommend a reliable source of laptop batteries and chargers? Looking on Trust pilot it seems many of the possible sources that look like UK companies are just fronts for Chinese companies and have rotten reviews!
