I had read about that self-funding procedure a while ago and, once I had looked into it, had my doubts that it would be financially do-able for Weaver and his neighbours in Heasta, Isle of Skye. 

For other, less remote locations, it does provide another means to obtain a G.993.2 service.

Yeah, done some reading on this now, and if your out on a limb some where it looks the best option. Myself I am in a flat, but most of the other 12 are rented so I think it will be a bit of a non starter. Which means I will have to wait and see what happens to the street we're on and our Cab.
