BT Chambers

I've come across a BT chamber cover that seems quite old ... it is labelled "Post Office Telegraphs". That must date back a while.
Are there many of these still around?

Yes, I've seen similar. If it is still fit for purpose, why change it?
As to how many are still in existence . . .

I've paid more attention while I've been walking over the last few days, and come across quite a few more of these chambers. There's obviously enough around!
