Does anyone know how to remove the ugly "Check Upgrade" button? Firmware 1.0.5 with  Ansuel's GUI 4.6.8  is currently running on my 4132.

 :)

And: Would it be possible to make bridge mode available for the TIM GUI in the future?

@eclp

In /www/docroot/gateway.lp remove this :

Code: [Select]
if cui.outdated_ver == "1" then
html[#html + 1] = '<div class="btn" style="margin-right:10px" id="update">'
html[#html + 1] = '<a style="color:red" class="someInfos" rel="tooltip" data-placement="bottom" data-original-title="'

@shdf, thanks... that's what helped!  ;D

Can these uninterrupted messages (endless Loop) also be deactivated?

br-lan and wl0_1

Code: [Select]

« Reply #485 on: February 04, 2018, 10:54:25 AM »

are you using ipv6 ? if not then try to disable it.

Edit:
here is the reason, in the comment: https://bugs.lede-project.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=1274

You can try this:
with winscp open /etc/config/dhcp
and under the section : config odhcpd 'odhcpd' add this line : option loglevel '4'
like this :
Code: [Select]
config odhcpd 'odhcpd'
option leasefile '/tmp/hosts/odhcpd'
option leasetrigger '/usr/sbin/odhcpd-update'
option loglevel '4'

once done restart the odhcpd service: /etc/init.d/odhcpd restart

Alternative method: You can do the same thing but all from putty:
Code: [Select]
uci set dhcp.odhcpd.loglevel=4
uci commit dhcp.odhcpd.loglevel
/etc/init.d/odhcpd restart

@shdf ... thank you again for your answer!

The weird thing is, if I enable IPv6 in the GUI there are not these messages, I deactivate them it comes to this endless loop of messages.

edit:

Thank you so much! That helped again.  :) :) :)

Perhaps one last thing, and there are dozens of reports about it:
Code: [Select]
[32277.909000] netlink: 20 bytes leftover after parsing attributes.
Is the current iproute version perhaps too new for the kernel? And is there a workaround?

 :)

ok, so i think you should have some devices with ipv6 activated (smartphone, tablet, PC, etc...) and when ipv6 is not activated in the router then you have these logs...try to set the loglevel to 4

Once you've installed the Firmware 1.1.x now it would be cool to unlock the tiles and all the features in the GUI that TIM locked.

with winscp make a copy of your /etc/config/web and create a new /etc/config/web file with this inside:

Replace the xxxxxxxxxx with what you have in your original copy :
Now just restart transformer and nginx:
Code: [Select]
/etc/init.d/transformer restart
/etc/init.d/nginx restart

Now go in your browser and watch your gui with the unlocked tiles. You can now configure your ISP from the GUI. Please note that there is no BRIDGE mode available.  :-\

The GUI TIM unlocked is way more stable and BUG less than the moded GUI by ansuel, but also have less features.

After this procedure seems It doesn't works the export configuration I'm right? It happens also to you?
thx.

For those of you who like like the violet Skin (Ansuel's GUI), I have completed the two responsible css files, so that now the up and down arrow is displayed.  :)

/www/docroot/css/

color_violet.css and gw.css

Thanks SHDF  :) , how are you getting on with including the bridge option the in 1.1.0 gui ?

If you turn vlan off under dsl, do you also get a validation error?

I am a little lost with LUA, so I could not do much...looks like all the files are present but something is missing somewhere.

yes, but when you go back again in the menu, the vlan is set to off...

Which GUI from Ansuel is working fine with the Bridge mode ? i think we can check what Ansuel did by comparing the files, and try to add his code into that firmware...easy to say...

I can confirm that!
The brigde mode works perfectly in Ansuel's GUI. (1.0.5 & GUI 4.6.8)
