Yes, the Arch Linux documentation is very good.

In Ubuntu 16.04 and in Linux Mint 18.x automatic TRIM is enabled by default, when you install Ubuntu 16.04 or Linux Mint 18.x on an SSD. Namely by a weekly "cron job".
