Fttc modem
« on: August 19, 2017, 02:24:37 PM »

I am on a Huawei cab and at the moment using a Zyxel 9325 all in one router , what modem is recommended  to run in bridge mode and is there any advantage to using separate bits of kit

Thanks

For regular circuit statistics harvesting, a modem equipped with a Broadcom chipset would be essential.

One advantage of having a separate modem is that the modem - DSLAM synchronisation state is not disturbed when the router configuration is modified or the router is swapped out for a different device.
