On my wife's iphone 4s she had a authorization code from the HMRC tax man as a text message, she opened it noted the detail and deleted it.
Now we can not get rid of the one new message1 icon, there is no sign of the message, tried reboot still there.
Any Idea's ?.

I have a set of 6 fixed IP's From  Eclipse  isp.BT ADSL2(G992.3) line>HG612 as a Modem, Bridge, WAN Not Bound to LAN1 or 2 + Also have FTTP (G.984) No One isp Fixed IP >Dual WAN pfSense (Hardware Firewall and routing).> Two WAN's, Ethernet LAN, DMZ LAN, Zyxel GS1100-24 Switch.

After having the 1 on the message icon for more than a week it just went away by it's self . :-\
