4G vs standard line - rural area?
« on: April 18, 2017, 07:24:00 PM »

Wondered if anyone could help...
We've just bought a house in a rural area, there's no fibre and not likely to be here for a fairly long time.

I can get 1.9Mbps via the phone line, alternatively Vodafone are offering a 4g hub with 100GB usage for £16.99 a month, my friend got 17Mbps on his Vodafone mobile at our house.

Any input or other ideas?

Thanks

I would bite their hand off for 100gb at £16.99/mo.

I'd maybe hesitate if the phone line speed was something half decent, but given that you can be sure of 17, I'd be contacting Vodafone tomorrow.
