Use as an emergency handle because the valve on the radiator in the bathroom is just a stump and the same radiator has split and soaked the kitchen downstairs :rain:

Clamp 2 components or bits of wire your joining/soldering so leaving both hands free

Use to make sure the very big overhead crimps on someones phone line (where it's the big blue cable due to a nearby high voltage line) are fully crimped so it won't disconnect the next time the electicity guys climb the same pole and use the cable as a foot step.

Old plastic milk / shampoo bottles

(incidently, this is a fun one for kids over 8, with yogurt pots, heat the oven to about 100 degrees, place the pots on a tray upside down, some water a few mm deep or oil lightly smeared on the tray is good so the pots wont stick. the "memory" in the plastic will return the pots back to a flat disc with the print as it was originaly painted before it was moulded into a pot shape.
Can now be used as coasters or anything else the imagination can run up.
If the pots have a paper label on them then this will have to be removed before hand) ;D
